RC7 (RC6 was supposed to be) is the final RC I will be doing until Google release the Gingerbread OTA for the NexusOne, however you can download my latest test build from here, this includes all the latest fixes and features that I have added/changed/updated since RC6. The test zip is constantly being updated on a daily basis and the link will remain the same, so if you like updating be sure to refresh it. You can use the following apk here to install the test build more easily.
Reasons for waiting for the OTA? Well I would rather not hack up the framework just to get video recording working, if we pull the libraries properly and the way it is supposed to be done then no hacks are needed to support video recording, I know this won’t be to everybodies liking and I appologise for that but I want to try and keep Oxygen as clean as possible. The OTA proprietary files would also fix a couple of other issues.

Aber zurück zur RC7, das Changelog sagt folgendes:

- Updated to Android 2.3.2 (GRH78C)
Market downloads are now stored on the SD card because Google increased the maximum app size to 50mb, the /cache partition on some HBOOT partition layouts are under this size so some larger apps will fail to download, if you have any problems with downloading market apps, delete the “Android” folder on your SD card and reboot, you should have no problems then.

Läuft bei mir ganz ordentlich,irgendwie weiss ich im moment garnicht welches Rom ich dauerhaft einsetzen soll…

Was ist denn der Vorteil von den 2.3 roms? Ich benutze im moment die Froyo Version von Oxygen und diese läuft bei mir extrem flüssig und schnell. Vorher hatte ich Oxygen RC6 drauf und da traten nach dem installieren meiner ganzen apps (Backup) schon die ersten Probleme auf: mehrere Apps bekamen direkt nach dem Start die „Prozess musste beendet werden“ Meldung und das konnte ich auch nicht beheben, nichtmal mit einer erneuten installation der apps..
Schau mal bei http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Android_(Betriebssystem) nach da stehen die Neuerungen immer mit dabei.
Die Integration von Internettelefonie find ich sehr interessant habe es aber nie wirklich ausprobiert.
Was ist den mit dem bug, dass wenn man angerufen wird 1-3 sec der Anrufer mich nicht hört? Hat mich sehr gestört.
Und was macht der Grafiktreiber?
Geht Navigon in der Zwischenzeit?
Also ich bin von Oxygen wieder zu Defrost gewechselt. Eigentlich schade die UI von Gingerbread gefällt mir sehr gut.

Ich wollte eigentlich wissen, ob die 2.3 roms sehr schnell sind (besonders auf Oxygen 2.0-RC7 mit dem Oxygen HBoot-IMG von AlphaRev) oder ob es zwischen 2.3 und 2.2 roms keinen unterschied gibt in der Geschwindigkeit. Ich frage das, weil es sich meiner Meinung nach sehr interessant anhört mit 337MB Data (wegen dem AlphaRev-IMG) und das die apps um die geschwindigkeit zu erhöhen nicht mehr auf die ext-Partition der SD-Karte geschoben werden. Also hat das schonmal jemand getestet mit Oxygen 2.0-RC7 + bravo_alphaspl-oxygen.img ?

Ja, natürlich. Ist ja das Entwicklerphone von Google. Das bekommt alle Android-Versionen, solange diese auf der verbauten Hardware laufen.
